Preparing for Childbirth Class
We attended our first Preparing for Childbirth class at the hospital last night. The first class was mainly an introduction to what we'll do in the next 5 weeks and we didn't learn too much new or exciting. We did get to watch a video of a birth and were promised there would be another one each week. Some random thoughts that popped into our head when we were told this - Do you really need to watch a video of a birth each week? Isn't one enough? How do they find the goofiest pregnant couples and get them to agree to be on these videos? On a more serious note, next week we get to bring the pillows and a blanket to the class and learn some massage techniques. Mommy is definitely looking forward to that.

Priscilla -
I saw your letter in Brechner's office the other day and saw your blog URL! Your site is so cute!! Only 4 more weeks to go for me. Can't wait! You will be so glad you are at home over the last 10 weeks of your pregnancy. I'm waddling all over the place and I get a lot of laughs for it. I'll give you a call. Maybe we can do lunch before my little guy gets here- my last day is the 19th. YAY!
Julie! So great to hear from you! I was just thinking about you the other day and wondering how you and your little guy are...glad to hear that you'll have some down time soon! I am definitely counting my lucky stars that I have this time home right now...it really all worked out perfect. I'm in that "nesting" phase...my days are spent cleaning out cabinets, closets, and anything else I can tackle. :-) Give me a call some time soon and we'll do lunch before your little man makes his arrival and our lives change forever....in a good way! Can't believe you have less than 4 weeks left....wow, where did the time go!?
